Teaching and Learning Strategy

- Create opportunities for tutors to share teaching pedagogy and to critically review resources and challenge the integrity of approach to maximum student achievement
- Work towards creating one College Scheme of Work for maths / English that tutors can individualise for their style / student needs
- Ensure maths and English teaching is dual purpose; developing academic and character strengths to produce work ready individuals
- Develop tracking systems that measure performance in a cohesive & coordinated way to ensure progress can be monitored by student, student group and whole cohorts
- Integrate feedback and marking system and to maximise efficiencies ensure data links between systems to minimise data entry for teaching staff
- Create digital learning platforms that link to taught lesson and provide seamless links to support / stretch and challenge students learning
